Millennium Hall in
Cherry Willingham, 16 High Street.
The Millennium Hall was opened on March 4th 2000.
The Building was built as a Methodist Chapel in the 1880's and served
this purpose till the congregation moved out to larger premises in 1999.
The Parish Council then purchased the building for use as a parish office. The single
room was divided into a large meeting room, an office for the clerk and
a toilet and kitchen facilities. The building has also been tastefully
redecorated as can be seen from the photos below.
The office is open every Monday
from 11:00am to 11:30am for parishioners to drop in and discuss Parish
Council matters.
At other times the Hall can be
hired by local groups at a reasonable cost.
Ring the Clerk on 01 522 750 086 for bookings.
Ted Coleman - Senior
Methodist Steward expresses his pleasure at the future use of the former
chapel as a village resource.
