The Parish Council marked the Millennium with a special gift to the first baby born in Cherry Willingham after the 1st of January 2000.  Cherry seemed to have missed the fashion for millennium babies as the first to be born was Johanna Robinson on 13th March.

Johanna was presented with a Certificate and a Millennium coin by Mr. Alan Andrews Chairman of the Council on 17th April 2000
